Assembly very quick and simple. Sturdy considering type and use of this kind of table. Space foot print when chairs are under table is exceptioally little. I purchased a used set. Only negative is the set was missing a couple of chair screws and two of the plugs inserted on the top of one chair. Manufacturer was completely nonresponsive in my attempts to obtain the parts. Amazon was willing to take return for a refund, but the inconvenience of disassembling the table made that an option with no appeal. The product, table set, is nice. The manufacturer has terrible customer service. I am still happy with the set, but others may find the lack of manufacturer response, and in my case, the lack of Amazon giving a reasonable means of resolution, a reason not to purchase.
